My Dad is my Hero and goes above and beyond for me and my Mom even though he has been disabled for 5 years now he puts the pain aside to make sure we have we have a good life but since he became disabled times have been hard and he goes with out so we can have what ever we want. He used to collect knives but hasn’t been able to. My father has been a knife enthusiast for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is how much he liked a sharpening system my brother’s and I gave him for for Christmas, He and share a common enthusiasm for knives. I’ve been really impressed with the Civivi knives I’ve purchased and was gonna get him one for his upcoming birthday, til I learned about this giveaway that is. Fingers crossed, maybe I can win one for him instead!

My Dad is not actually a knife person. He had some health issues for some time and to be honest, recently he is rather negative to everything and almost everyone. But when I was searching for a knife for myself, I showed him an Appalachian Drifter. And I saw tears in his eyes because it looks exactly like the pocket knife that his father (my grandpa) gave him 60+ years ago and it was my father’s best companion during his childhood. Definitely that memory lift him and his heart up for a few moments! Thank You for that.
