I wish I could relive going camping with my father when we were younger and when he showed me how to use a knife for the first time. The nostalgia is strong.

I am still carry around every day my dads old timer pocket knives that his wife gave me when he passed away a few years ago .. it is wore down to almost nothing.. this would be the ultimate replacement in honor of Father’s Day

My Dad just passed away on June 4th 2022 at 0425AM. If I would win, I will donate it to Camo Cares, an organization who raises fund to send sick children and wounded veterans on once in a lifetime hunting trips. My Dad lived his life to serve others. RIP Andy Chaff

Like Chris Davis, I recently (last year) lost my father. Unfortunately, my father, a great man, took his own life. Point is to listen for any signs there may be that someone is not doing well. Sadly, my father was one hell of a “poker player” and never let us know.
AND… for those who can still be with their dads, DO IT! Enjoy them and realize that life is fleeting…

I wish my dad was still here to watch me open my Civivi knife. He use to enjoy whittling while he was waiting for one of his Squirrel dogs to tree a squirrel then he would shoot enough out of a tree for a good meal. This was many years ago when people still hunted for their food. His knife was always sharp too.

My dad is an old timer. Up until a few months ago he used to carry an old Remington Bullet slipjoint folder. The blade was so worn down that it didn’t even cut anymore. He always comments on the knives I carry and told me he’d like to get a more modern folder. Civivi & WE Knives puts out some great knives for the money and I’m sure he’ll be surprised when he gets an Elementum this Father’s Day.

I would love to give my father a Civivi knife for Father’s Day. Whenever I see him and he’s working on a home improvement project, he will ask to borrow my knife if he needs to cut something, and I’m sure he would be thrilled to have a quality knife of his own (such as the Conspirator) instead of using the hardware store knives laying around his garage lol

My dad gave me my first pocket knife when I was 7 years old. A Civivi would be the perfect knife to continue the tradition with my son.
